Writers

This section is an index for writer-specific pages, each of which lists articles that are written by a specific writer, and articles about the writer in question.

For this purpose, we distinguish between authors, writers, and reporters, as follows. The term 'author' usually refers to the author of a book. More generally, it refers to a person whose work(s) are extensively read and discussed. If a work has been the subject of review articles, then the person who wrote it will be called an author.

The term 'reporter' is used for journalists, as well as for others whose articles describe some aspect of reality.

Finally, the term 'writer' is used for persons that advocate their opinions or their view of the world in writing. The authors of blogs and of website-published articles belong to this category in most cases.
